1. Any unit or individual is not allowed to assemble a moped, nor is it allowed to modify a moped with a bicycle.
2. To apply for driving a moped, you must go through the procedures at the local public security agency with a moped certificate, purchase certificate, third-party liability insurance certificate and unit certificate. After passing the inspection, a moped license plate and driving license will be issued. The license plate has two sides per vehicle and is hung on the front and back of the vehicle. The driving license must be carried with you.
3. For mopeds with license plates and driving licenses, an inspection is carried out every two years. Those that fail to meet the requirements are not allowed to continue driving.
4. People who drive mopeds must be at least 16 years old, over 1.45 meters tall, with a visual acuity of 0.7 or more in both eyes (or after correction), no red or green blindness, normal hearing, and no diseases or physical defects that hinder safe driving. After passing the physical examination at the hospital and the public security agency's test on traffic rules and driving skills, a moped driver's license will be issued.
5. Moped drivers are subject to review and inspection every two years.
