The two-piece, stepped design allows riders to fine-tune their seating position, and a factory-low option is available to improve accessibility without altering the motorcycle's ground clearance.
The cover is constructed from a hard-wearing, textured polymer fabric that offers excellent grip in all conditions, whether wet or dry. It is highly breathable to reduce heat buildup and is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish to shed rain and mud. The seat pan itself is a lightweight, glass-fiber reinforced polymer designed for maximum strength and impact resistance, directly bolting to the R1300GS's signature GS frame for a secure, rattle-free fit.
